Calling All Tree-Loving Volunteers!

Want to push back against eco-hostility? Want to get more involved in preserving Nashville’s tree canopy?

Get involved. Join the fight for Nashville’s tree canopy. We need volunteers. Here’s how you can plug in:

  • Policy Chair – We’re still seeking the right candidate for our Policy Chair. If you’re passionate about advocating for tree-friendly legislation and have the background to influence policy, we’d love to hear from you. This team member would help the board identify and champion a clear, bold policy strategy for our future. Government/Advocacy or Urban Forestry Expertise desired.

  • Policy Research Assistants – Track the latest on urban forestry, zoning, housing policy, and environmental equity to help shape our agenda with facts and rigor.

For Policy roles, please reach out directly to Board Chair Chris Leonard at chris.leonard@treeconservationcorps.org.

  • Communications Team – Writers, social media managers, and graphic designers to help spread our message and polish our materials. Are you a communicator with a passion for trees? Love posting photos of your tree-hugging ways? Join our communications team and help amplify our message while sharing your love for Nashville’s urban forest.

Reach out to Communications Chair Jimi Daly at jimi.daly@treeconservationcorps.org.

As Nashville’s political climate continues to shift, the fight for our tree canopy is more urgent than ever. We are doubling down and gearing up for the challenge. We’re grateful for the passion of our community. Thank you for your continued support.
